There are a lot of photographers in the area. Why should I choose you?

Anyone can pick up a camera and claim they are a photographer. What matters is their work. We are not going after the "traditional" or "posed shot" market. There are plenty of other photographers around that can provide that if that is what you are looking for. Our goal is to provide our clients with something truly unique. We believe that wedding photography doesn't have to be typical and boring. Your wedding day will be filled with excitement and emotion. We want to capture that in a way that is artistic and tells a story. We are very passionate about our work and we hope it shows in our photographs. We have no doubt that you will be able to find someone cheaper or more expensive than us. What really matters is the images. Pictures captured at a once in a lifetime event like your wedding can not be recreated so whoever you choose to photograph your wedding is an important decision. Photography is one of the few expenditures that will provide a great return on your investment. We want to give our clients something that can be treasured and passed down from generation to generation. We want our images to be something that can be proudly displayed on your wall. Please look in our portfolio section to see examples of our work.

What kind formats do you shoot in?

We shoot in professional digital format using only professional equipment. We made the switch from film only once the technology had surpassed the quality of medium format negatives. Even our commercial clients prefer digital for publications.

I live outside of the Pensacola area. Do you travel?

Eventhough we are based in Pensacola, Florida, we can travel anywhere in the United States and abroad for your photographic needs as long as travelings expenses are covered.

I am considering using you for my wedding. Can you hold my wedding date?

Unfortunately, since we only shoot one wedding per day, reservations are on a first come first serve basis. We can only hold the date with a contract and retainer fee (which applies to the final amount).

What kind of clothes should I wear to a portrait session?

We recommend very conservative clothing (i.e., nothing that anyone 10 years from now will point and laugh at!) This typically includes, a white oxford or sundress, jeans, or khakis. Avoid clothing with prominent logos or designs. If you insist on wearing glasses we recommend removing the lenses ( if possible) to eliminate the possiblity of glare. Avoid shorts and short sleaved shirts.

Do you offer retouching for my photographs?

Yes! We can remove wrinkles, acne, double chins, stray hairs and brighten the eyes and teeth. Prices vary on the picture involved and how much work needs to be done.

What if I want to show wedding photos to friends and family that live far away?

We can provide a private web gallery so that anyone with internet access can log on to view and order pictures.

Who will actually be shooting my wedding or portraits?

This is a very valid question unfortunately. What's the point of looking at a great portfolio if someone else ends up shooting your pictutres? All of the photographs that you see on this web site were photographed by our sole photographer, Rick Schamberger and he will be the person who shows up to shoot your pictures.
